European Investment Project Portal (EIPP) and Agency for Investments and Competitiveness provide easier search for investors

Agency for Investments and Competitiveness has become a partner of the European Investment Project Portal (EIPP), established by the European Commission in order to promote investment projects and investment possibilities in the European Union and to enable projects to reach potential investors worldwide. EIPP’s partners include international financial institutions such as the World Bank, the European Investment Fund, the European Investment Bank and the Council of Europe Development Bank.

As its partner, the Agency for Investments and Competitiveness has been enabled to promote investment possibilities published in the Catalogue of Investment Opportunities on the EIPP web-portal. The Agency published the 12 th edition of the Catalogue of Investment Opportunities (containing 71 projects in private and public sectors in search of strategic partners or investors) in December 2017:

The Portal is provided and hosted by the European Commission and is part of the Investment Plan for Europe initiative to mobilise investment, promote economic growth and create more jobs across the EU.

Publishing projects on the EIPP web platform is free of charge

Promotion of the projects on the EIPP’s web platform is possible to all public and private entities in EU members states, i.e. state bodies, local and regional government units, companies, citizens associations and similar, providing they comply with the basic criteria. In order to be published, a project must have minimal value of 1 million Eur, must be implemented within EU area, comply with all applicable EU and national laws and be in an area of a high-added value for the economy (energy efficiency, transport, health care, renewable energy sources, broadband infrastructure or SME financing).
