ABOUT THE MINISTRY

The Ministry of Economy is the central state body responsible for economic affairs in the Republic of Croatia, including investment processes. The Ministry also deals with issues related to the competitiveness of the Croatian economy, instruments and measures of economic and industrial policies and policies associated with innovation and new technologies.

Our services to investors

The Ministry of Economy is a central place for investors who decide to invest in the Republic of Croatia. We provide support in implementing investment projects through all phases, such as:

• Promoting Croatia as a business and investment destination by organizing seminars and conferences, developing promotional materials on investment opportunities in Croatia and through inter-institutional cooperation in the domestic and foreign markets,
• Providing all necessary information on business and investment opportunities in Croatia,
• Support to investors by providing relevant information, data and analysis on the business climate, investment conditions, labour market, potential partners, investment locations and investment incentives,
• Supporting investors in finding suitable investment locations and organizing visits to investment sites and meetings with representatives of public and private bodies, and
• Post-investment support.

In the area of public-private partnership, the Ministry of the Economy is the regulatory body and the central national body responsible for regulating and improving the public-private partnership market in the Republic of Croatia.
