Incentives for employment

Taking into account the specific needs of beneficiaries, the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy and the Croatian Employment Service implement a number of active employment policy measures aimed at encouraging employment, additional education of workers and retention of jobs.

EMPLOYMENT AID

OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Encouraging the employment of disadvantaged and extremely disadvantaged persons and persons with disabilities by co-financing the cost of wages for employers.

EMPLOYMENT AID – GREEN/DIGITAL

OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Encouraging the employment of disadvantaged and extremely disadvantaged persons and persons with disabilities by co-financing the cost of wages for employers.

TRAINING AID

OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Through co-financing the cost of training, to provide targeted support to employees who need additional skills in order to achieve the greatest possible efficiency and productivity of the new workplace, and to employers who need investment in the development and productivity of their workforce in order to adapt to changes in the market, organizational and process changes in business and technological progress.

TRAINEESHIP

OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: To train people for independent work by encouraging the employment of people by co-financing the cost of their gross salary and other costs to employers prescribed by this measure.

WORKPLACE TRAINING

OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: To enable unemployed people to acquire practical knowledge and skills for performing the tasks of a specific workplace or to restore skills lost over time.

PERMANENT SEASONAL WORKER

OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Financial support for seasonal workers in the period when they are not working, and in order to provide the necessary workforce to employers as applicants from all industries who have periods of reduced workload during the year due to the seasonal nature of business.

AID FOR PRESERVING JOBS – REDUCTION OF WORKING HOURS

OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Preservation of jobs at employers who have temporary difficulties in business. For employers from the Manufacturing industry sector (NACE area C) who perform economic activity and employ 10 or more workers.
