In October 2020, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, in cooperation with PwC Croatia, South Central Ventures and Fil Rouge Capital, conducted a study on the adaptation and transformation of Croatian start-ups and companies due to new market conditions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, with a particular focus on the digital transformation.
Through research on startups and companies, the report looks at and explains the impact of the pandemic on their business, the changes they have subsequently introduced, as well as their expectations and plans for the future.
Research shows that the pandemic has undoubtedly spurred the adjustment of an economy that is rapidly striving to implement digital solutions and transform existing business models. In addition, the report provides a basis for future analysis of digital economy trends in Croatia and enables continuous monitoring of progress and changes in this area.
