{"id":1380,"date":"2013-01-15T23:08:59","date_gmt":"2013-01-15T23:08:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/investcro.virtualna-tvornica.hr\/?page_id=1380"},"modified":"2024-01-18T07:39:53","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T07:39:53","slug":"stay-and-work-permits-and-visas","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/investcroatia.gov.hr\/en\/stay-and-work-permits-and-visas\/","title":{"rendered":"Work permits and visas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mup.gov.hr\/radne-dozvole\/286764\">The\u00a0Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia<\/a>\u00a0is the body competent for issuing residence and work permits as well as work registration certificates.<\/p>\n<p>The Aliens Act (OG 133\/20, 114\/22, 151\/22) stipulates that a third-country national in the Republic of Croatia may work based on the residence and work permit or a work registration certificate.<\/p>\n<p>The law also foresees exceptions to this rule, enabling third-country nationals to work in the Republic of Croatia without a residence and work permit or work registration certificate, if they have received approved temporary residence in the Republic of Croatia for the purpose of family reunification with a Croatian citizen, temporary residence for the purpose of a life partnership with a Croatian citizen, temporary residence for humanitarian reasons, autonomous residence, long-term residence, permanent residence, etc.<\/p>\n<p>A third-country national may work in the Republic of Croatia only in those jobs for which the national has been issued a residence and work permit or a work registration certificate and only for an employer for which he has been issued a residence and work permit or a work registration certificate and with whom he has established employment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Note:\u00a0The\u00a0Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia\u00a0is the body competent for issuing residence and work permits as well as work registration certificates.
