They are co-financed by the EU and national funds, and services for end users are generally free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>EDIHs provide four categories of services, primarily to small and medium-sized enterprises but also to the public sector:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Test before invest \u2013 the opportunity to try out digital technologies before committing to an investment<\/li>\n<li>Skills and training \u2013 education and programmes to strengthen digital competences<\/li>\n<li>Support to find investment \u2013 help in identifying sources of funding for digital transformation<\/li>\n<li>Networking and innovation-ecosystem building \u2013 connecting users with partners at regional, national and European level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Croatia is currently home to four such hubs, each with its own technological and sectoral focus.<\/p>\n<h5>AI4Health.Cro<\/h5>\n<p>AI4Health.Cro is dedicated to applying artificial intelligence and high-performance computing in healthcare and medicine. The hub supports companies and public institutions in developing digital health solutions, testing AI-based solutions, and training medical and professional staff. It operates nationally, with activities in Zagreb, Rijeka, Split and Krapinske Toplice, and is coordinated by the Ru\u0111er Bo\u0161kovi\u0107 Institute.<br \/>\nTechnologies: artificial intelligence, high-performance computing<br \/>\nSectors: healthcare<br \/>\nWeb: ai4healthcro.eu<br \/>\nEmail: edih(at)irb.hr<\/p>\n<h5>EDIH Adria<\/h5>\n<p>EDIH Adria specialises in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and other advanced technologies, aiming to strengthen an innovative and resilient business ecosystem across Adriatic Croatia. Its consortium brings together universities, technology leaders and business-support institutions, and it is coordinated by STEP RI, the Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka.<br \/>\nTechnologies: artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, big data, digital twins, mobility, virtual reality<br \/>\nSectors: healthcare, health tourism, transport with an emphasis on the maritime sector, energy and sustainable development, public administration<br \/>\nWeb: edihadria.eu<br \/>\nEmail: edih.adria(at)uniri.hr<\/p>\n<h5>AI &amp; Gaming (JURK) EDIH<\/h5>\n<p>AI &amp; Gaming (JURK) EDIH focuses on artificial intelligence, gamification and game development, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), covering Central Croatia and the Northern Adriatic. The hub supports SMEs and the public sector in adopting digital technologies and is coordinated by the Regional Coordinator of Sisak-Moslavina County.<br \/>\nTechnologies: artificial intelligence, gamification and game development, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT)<br \/>\nSectors: agriculture, tourism and hospitality, healthcare (especially medical rehabilitation), wood industry, construction, pharmaceuticals, video-game development, education<br \/>\nWeb: gaming-edih.hr<br \/>\nEmail: tplesec(at)rk-smz.hr<\/p>\n<h5>CROBOHUB++<\/h5>\n<p>CROBOHUB++ is Croatia&#8217;s key hub for robotics and the digitalisation of manufacturing.
