Lausanne, Switzerland, June 15, 2022 – In this year’s report of the IMD World Competitiveness Center, Croatia ranked 46th out of 63 world economies, which is an increase of 13 places compared to last year (the highest growth of all countries measured).<\/p>\n

The Swiss Institute for Management Development (IMD) Competitiveness Ranking measures how well countries manage their resources and competencies to enable the long-term creation of new values. The IMD methodology is based on the analysis of 4 competitiveness factors, namely: economic performance, public sector efficiency, business sector efficiency and infrastructure, using 20 indicators, 5 for each area.<\/p>\n

In 2022, Croatia recorded growth in all factors of competitiveness, while the greatest improvements were recorded in the area of \u200b\u200beconomic performance and in the efficiency of the public and business sectors.<\/p>\n

Significant positive developments in the Croatian economy have been identified and recorded in the following indicators:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The results of this year’s survey<\/strong> conducted among senior managers in the economy (an average of 100 managers per economy surveyed) indicate that Croatian businessmen perceive as 5 key positive factors in the Croatian economy:<\/p>\n
