| Unique Capabilities |
EcoCortec® VpCI® films protect metals both through direct contact and vapor-phase action. In places where the VpCI® plastic is in direct contact with the metal, VpCI® molecules adsorb, or temporarily “stick,” on the metal surfaces, creating an invisible molecular barrier against corrosive elements such as oxygen, moisture, and chlorides. As VpCI® molecules vaporize out of the film and diffuse throughout the package, they also form a protective molecular layer on metal surfaces not in direct contact with the film. When the packaging is removed, the VpCI® molecules simply vaporize and float away. No extra cleaning or coating removal is needed, and the metal part can be used immediately EcoSonic® VpCI® -125 HP Permanent ESD Films and Bags are high-performance anti-static, corrosion inhibiting film and bags for use in the protection of static sensitive multi-metal items such as electronics. They contain permanent anti-static properties to immediately reduce or eliminate static buildup as long as the films or bags are in use, independent of the presence of humidity. They also form a molecular corrosion inhibiting layer on metal substrates and do not interfere with the physical or chemical properties of electronic components. The film and bags replace conventional rust preventatives such as oils and desiccants and allow your product to be used immediately without cleaning or degreasing |
