The Ministry of Economy has carried out a comprehensive digitalisation of the process for granting and monitoring state aid through the eInvestments platform, which constitutes a single information system integrating procedures from three key laws:
the Investment Promotion Act
the Strategic Investment Projects of the Republic of Croatia Act
the State Aid for Research and Development Projects Act
This is a system that, at the national level, covers the entire investment cycle — from receiving applications, evaluation and decision-making, to monitoring project implementation, annual reporting, and payment of aid. In this way, a unified digital framework for managing state aid and investments in the Republic of Croatia has been established.
The platform enables entrepreneurs to submit applications, provide documentation, submit annual reports, and file payment requests entirely electronically through a system available at https://einvesticije.mingo.gov.hr.
Paper documentation, sending attachments by post, and visits to institutions have been replaced by a single digital environment in which the entire procedure takes place.
Standardised digital forms have replaced previous formats, and the system automatically verifies data accuracy, displays relevant fields, and reduces the need for additional submissions. Structured digital data and automated deadline tracking enable the Ministry to manage cases more efficiently and make decisions faster.
